Wat is CSRD en ESG-compliance?<\/h5>

In de zaken wereld komen termen als CSRD en ESG-compliance steeds vaker naar voren. Maar wat betekenen deze begrippen precies, en waarom zijn ze belangrijk voor bedrijven van elke omvang? In deze blog leggen we uit wat CSRD en ESG-compliance inhouden en hoe organisaties zich hierop kunnen voorbereiden.<\/p>

Wat is CSRD?
<\/strong>De Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is een nieuwe EU-richtlijn die bedrijven verplicht om transparanter te zijn over hun impact op mens, milieu en bestuur. CSRD vervangt de huidige Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD) en breidt de rapportageverplichtingen aanzienlijk uit. Het doel is om bedrijven te stimuleren duurzamer te opereren en investeerders en stakeholders beter te informeren over hun ESG-prestaties.<\/p>

Voor wie geldt CSRD
<\/strong>CSRD zal van toepassing zijn op:<\/p>

  • Grote bedrijven die aan minstens twee van de volgende criteria voldoen:<\/p>

    • Meer dan 250 werknemers<\/p><\/li>

    • Meer dan \u20ac40 miljoen omzet<\/p><\/li>

    • Meer dan \u20ac20 miljoen balanstotaal

      <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/li>

    • Beursgenoteerde MKB-bedrijven (met een overgangsperiode tot 2026)<\/p><\/li>

    • Grote niet-EU-bedrijven die substanti\u00eble activiteiten in de EU hebben<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      Wat is ESG-compliance?
      <\/strong>ESG-compliance betekent dat bedrijven voldoen aan de richtlijnen en regelgeving op het gebied van Environmental (milieu), Social (maatschappij) en Governance (goed bestuur). Dit houdt in dat bedrijven niet alleen hun financi\u00eble prestaties rapporteren, maar ook hun impact op klimaatverandering, sociale verantwoordelijkheid en bestuursstructuren.<\/p>

      Waarom is ESG-compliance belangrijk?<\/strong><\/p>

      1. Wettelijke verplichting \u2013 Met de invoering van CSRD en andere regelgeving moeten bedrijven zich houden aan specifieke rapportage-eisen.<\/li>
      2. Investeerders en klanten \u2013 Transparantie over ESG-prestaties trekt duurzame investeerders en bewuste consumenten aan.<\/li>
      3. Concurrentievoordeel \u2013 Bedrijven die ESG serieus nemen, kunnen zich onderscheiden en nieuwe zakelijke kansen cre\u00ebren.<\/li>

        Hoe bedrijven zich kunnen voorbereiden op CSRD en ESG-compliance<\/strong><\/p>

        1. Breng ESG-prestaties in kaart \u2013 Gebruik dataverzameling en monitoringtools om inzicht te krijgen in je duurzaamheidsprestaties.<\/p><\/li>

        2. Stel rapportagesystemen op \u2013 Zorg voor een gestructureerde manier om ESG-data te verzamelen en te rapporteren volgens CSRD-richtlijnen.<\/p><\/li>

        3. Integreer ESG in de strategie \u2013 ESG moet niet alleen een rapportageverplichting zijn, maar een integraal onderdeel van de bedrijfsstrategie.<\/p><\/li>

        4. Werk samen met experts \u2013 Externe adviseurs en gespecialiseerde software kunnen helpen om compliant te worden en te blijven.<\/p><\/li>

        5. Bereid je voor op audits \u2013 CSRD vereist controle door accountants, dus zorg voor transparante en verifieerbare gegevens.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>
